Yankee Candle - New Winter 2013 Scents!

Happy Monday!!!....Who am I kidding? There's no such thing as a happy Monday :(

If you're looking down the barrel of a long working week like I am then you will probably need something to help you unwind at the end of your long working day, so let me introduce the new Winter Yankee Candles!!
Seamless link there....
The spicy sweet aroma of exotic patchouli casts a captivating Halloween spell.
This is the only Halloween scent I got as I've had Candy Corn before and it was nice but nothing really that special.
This is a really heady patchouli scent, it's extremely strong so if you don't like scents that pack a punch I wouldn't advise this one.
It's a bit of a masculine floral scent, but I think that's nice for a change from the girly floral scents we're bombarded with constantly!

Its a marshmallow world at Christmas! Find happiness in a delightfully luscious and creamy soft concoction of marshmallow and vanilla.
This is such a gorgeous scent! Right up my street, I love the sweet, foody scents.
This smells so creamy, I can mostly smell vanilla and not much but that's fine by me as I adore vanilla scents!
It smells a lot like a vanilla milkshake!

Reflect on the silently peaceful solitude of winters snowfall, captured in this cool, enchanting white musk blend.
This is a really odd scent for me as I don't usually pick the really fresh scents like this, it's definitely musky but it has a really unique effect to it, just after you smell it your nostrils almost feel cold! As if its had a cooling effect on you, like you're actually walking through the snow, so clever!!

A new Christmas tradition that is sure to charm, perfectly pretty festive cookies, deliciously decorated with sugary pink icing.
This is very sweet, a lot of people won't like such a overpowering sweet scent but I'm a big fan!
It's similar to the famous Christmas Cookie but it has a extra sweetness on top of it, to mimic the ''sugary pink icing'' I'm guessing.
I can see myself loving this one!

From the heart of the kitchen, unforgettable moments are brought home again with this comforting recipe of spices and sweets.
The obligatory spicy scent, yay!
I love the spicy scents, but I know they're not a lot of peoples cup of tea.
This one smells strongly of cinnamon but also has a slightly sweet edge to it, making it different to Yankee's classic Cinnamon Stick (a fave of mine!).

You can purchase all of these scents from the Yankee website now from £1.20, or alternatively on Ebay, I always get a great deal on there!

Kisses! x

Hello and happy Sunday!
The undisputed champion of the ''most boring day of the week'' competition!
Time for a new Super Stud Sunday post, and today I'm going to feature the gorgeous silver fox (no, not Paul Hollywood...yet...) George Lamb!
The son of Larry Lamb, who played Gavin's dad in Gavin & Stacey, he is a gorgeous, tall drink of water!

He's just a delightful smorgasbord for the eyeballs!
He always looks so smart and put together, that put together with his smooth cockney accent and effortless charm makes him irresistible

MUA Starry Night Palette REVIEW!

Hello my lovely readers!!
I hope you're all well, and enjoying my new blog layout!
I've been working sooo much this week, and next week is looking to be the same but I'm fine with it because the week after that my birthday week starts!!
My 22nd (I know, I'm getting old) birthday looms and I'm not much of a birthday person but I'm still very excited!

Today I'm going to do a review on a palette I've had for a while but I've never really played with before, the MUA Starry Night palette!

This palette is a beautiful mix of ''starry night'' types of colours, purples, blues and greys with a pink and a black thrown into the mix.

All of these shades are shimmer so if you don't like shimmer then this palette is most certainly not for you!
Luckily for me, I love shimmer so I'm in my element!
All of the shadows are amazingly pigmented, some of them are so shiny they almost give a foil effect to the eye!

I'm a big fan of purple makeup on me as I have brown eyes, I think it really makes them pop, and this palette has some amazing purples in it that I can't wait to have a play around with!

You can purchase this from MUA online or from Superdrug stores nationwide for just £4!

Much love!

My Graze Box Review! (And Your Chance For A Freebie!)

Hello ladies!
I've been on a bit of a health kick lately and one of the hardest things for me when I'm trying to be healthier is knowing what to snack on, because I'm a big snacker!
So I decided to give a Graze box another chance, I've tried them before and I ordered a few then stopped, but I'm much more into healthier stuff now than I was years ago.

I'm going to show you what I got in my box and then give you reviews of each snack individually, because I know it can be a bit confusing knowing what you'd like and wouldn't like by just looking on the Graze website, and if I carry on getting these boxes then I might make this a weekly post :)

I love the packaging, it's such a simple but cute design, and the little joke hidden behind the snacks is a sweet little touch!
I'll be interested to see if the design of the box is different as the seasons change, that would be a nice touch also!

I tried this punnet first, it was filled with mini cookies, white chocolate buttons, hazelnuts & sunflower seeds!
Pretty yummy, obviously the sunflower seeds weren't the highlight of the bunch, but it was something to nibble on and stopped me eating chocolate biscuits!
It lasted me well over an hour, I just kept dipping in and eating little bits while I was on my computer blogging.

As you can see, it's quite high in fats, but that's because it has nuts in it, saturated fats (bad fat) is a different story, so overall this is good for you, but might not be as great if you're cutting calories.

It really filled me up and I'd definitely recommend putting this in your Graze box.
Try eating one of everything, it tastes lush!

Then I had this one with a cup of tea the following day, what a treat to have ''healthy'' brownies! And you get three small ones, so it's not a stingy amount!
I'll be honest, these are more like a chocolate sponge than brownies, they don't have that gooey centre that brownies are supposed to have, but nonetheless they're very yummy and I'd definitely recommend these!

This one was definitely my favourite of all of them! Unbelievably yummy for a healthy snack (I mean, it's no Twix, but it's a start).
There is white chocolate buttons, amaretti drops, almond slices and coconut shavings in this pack.
The coconut shavings are not really my cup of tea, there is too many of them, but everything else is lovely, especially the amaretti drops, super yummers!!

This was definitely not my bag, too salty, pungent and tough, maybe if you've tried jerky before then put this in your box but I didn't like it at all!

And there we go! I've got another one for next week so I'll be sure to do another review on it for you once I've eaten all of them :)

If you would like your own Graze box for free, then please do use my friend code!
Just click here to be taken straight to the page to order your first FREE box :)

Maybelline Colour Tattoo's Full Review - Holy Grail Product!!

Hi everyone!
I'm doing a review I've been meaning to do for a long time today, for some reason I've never gotten round to it until now but, as you can see from the title, this is a ''holy grail'' product!
Well, maybe they're not quite as precious as the chalice Christ used at the last supper...but they're still pretty great!
It's the Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Eyeshadows!

As you can see, I definitely have enough of them to make a definitive review, I have half of the whole UK range, and I've got my eye on Everlasting Navy next, as soon as Superdrug have another 3 for 2 it will be MINE.

*Ahem* anyway, before I get carried away, I'll get onto what I think of the packaging.
The packaging is basically standard for these types of cream eyeshadow/base products, they're very similar to the Stila Smudge Pots in design, except I actually prefer the look of the Colour Tattoo's more!
They're also slightly similar to the much lauded MAC Paint Pots, they have the same glass jar packaging but they have different styles of lid.

Swatch time!
Endless Purple is probably the least pigmented of the bunch, but that's not hard as the others perform so brilliantly! This one will just need an extra coat on top if you want the colour to be completely opaque.
I don't usually wear it on it's own anyway, I use it for my base when I'm wearing a purple eye look as it really intensifies the colour and makes the look last forever.
Light In Purple is an absolutely stunning colour! It's a icy blue/lilac duochrome, not very flattering when used on its own but when you layer silver, blue or other duochrome shadows over the top it makes the most beautifully vibrant metallic look you could imagine!

Pink Gold is one of my favourite colour tattoos, I wouldn't have thought it would be as pink eye colours aren't necessarily the most flattering on..well..anyone! But this is such a cool toned pink (if such a thing exists!) that it doesn't make me look ill or sleep deprived!
This is one of the colour tattoos I could just slick over my lid, pop on some mascara and run out the door, so easy.
Metallic Pomegranate is one I was obsessed with as soon as I saw it, I literally grabbed it from the shelf and ran to the till like a rabid dog with a particularly tasty bone!
It's basically the cream equivalent of MAC's Cranberry eyeshadow, I think it'll look amazing on the eyes around the festive period too!

Permanent Taupe is the only matte colour tattoo I own, and possibly the only one in the UK collection altogether.
This is my favourite of them all! A big claim I know, but it's so unbelievably easy to use that it has to nab that top spot!
This would also be a great base if you're wearing a lot of matte eyeshadows.
It is quite a warm toned taupe though so if you don't think warm toned shades suit you then I'd steer clear of this one.
Eternal Gold makes the best Christmas eye looks this side of the North Pole!
So sparkly and festive, it's like tinsel for the eyes! I use this one it's own or, for a really intense look, I layer over some shadows from the MUA Going For Gold palette over the top, yuletide yumminess!!
On And On Bronze was the first colour tattoo I ever bought, and it's such a beautiful shade it's what ignited the love for them.
So easy to use, this is a bloggers favourite for sure!
Just a straight up bronze colour, for all you neutral lovers out there.

Another note to mention on these is that I've owned On And On Bronze for over 2 years and it's still going strong and hasn't dried out at all, whereas my Stila Smudge Pot had to be revived after less than a year in my collection!
And they're 4g of product, which will last you forever anyway so it's a good job they don't dry out too quickly, just make sure you screw the lid on nice and tight.

And that's that!
I really wish they'd bring more of the range of colour tattoos that the US has, as I would for sure be at the front of the queue to buy them all!

Maybelline Colour Tattoo's are available from Boots stores nationwide and online at Boots.com for £4.99.

H&M ''Nudes'' Eyeshadow Palette - Possible ''Naked Basics'' Palette Dupe?!

Hi there pumpkins!
Today I'm gonna do a post about some H&M makeup, I think H&M makeup is vastly underrated and I always get excited when I see new products from them whilst browsing their website, so when I saw they were doing eyeshadow palettes I almost squealed with excitement!
Eyeshadow palettes are my (not so) new obsession and I feel the same about them as Ash Ketchum felt about Pokemon, I have to catch them all!!

The packaging is very cute, not very sturdy as it's only cheap and plastic but it still looks pretty nice!
This palette looks on first glance to be a vague dupe of the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette, and I would say it is a good dupe colour wise, but the Naked Basics palette is completely matte bar one shadow, whereas this H&M palette is all shimmer apart from one shade.

The first colour is a great dupe for Venus from the Naked Basics palette, a gorgeous shimmery white with a slight pink tone in some lights.
Apart from that one I'd say the rest of them are good colour matches, but as I said before they have shimmer in them so they're not exactly the same, also there is no black in this palette.
This palette would be good for anyone who was going to buy the Naked Basics palette but was put off by all the matte shades, as I know I was as I'm a shimmer girl at heart!

As for the pigmentation, they're all brilliant apart from the second shade from the left, it is a pretty pointless shadow as it has virtually no colour unless it's packed on really heavily.

This makes for a really handy little palette to just throw in your handbag/overnight bag and go, it would be great for a weekend away where you have to pack light, as you could create quite a few different looks with this palette.

Lasting power on these eyeshadows is really good even without a primer, but I'd say just to be on the safe side pop on a primer anyway to intensify the colour.

This palette is also available in a few different colour combinations, so I'll probably be picking up a couple more!

The H&M Nudes eyeshadow palette is available from H&M stores worldwide, and also from H&M online for just £3.99!

The Blog Formally Known As ''The Beauty Belle''....

Hi everyone!!
You might notice something a bit different about my blog today, and it is that my name has changed!
The look of my blog is still the same for now but I'm in the process of designing a new theme (or getting someone else to do it for me anyway haha) but my name change is a pretty big deal for me!
I chose The Beauty Belle as my name a long time ago, when I wasn't even convinced I would keep up blogging, so now that it's become my main hobby and a great love of my life I just didn't feel happy with the name.
It was lazy of me to just put any random word after the word ''Beauty'', my only reason for Belle is that she is my favourite Disney princess really!

I must admit, the name I opted for is not my first choice, I did think of ''Beauty She Wrote'' first, and I love it and think it suits my blog more, it's cleverer and less of a dull name than before (and who doesn't love Murder She Wrote?! Jessica Fletcher is the bomb), but then I thought of ''Beauty & The Rest'' (another nod to Beauty & The Beast..not sure why I'm so obsessed with it haha) and thought that was perfect for me as I don't only do beauty on my blog, it's predominantly beauty but I also put in other stuff too.
But unfortunately, all the co.uk and .com domain names for Beauty & The Rest were gone :( So I opted for Beauty She Wrote, which I think I'll definitely grow into and get used to, it's just a change for now!

So I just wanted to put this post out there to let you all know about the change, and that my theme will be changing too, as I like to keep you all informed on all my life changes :)

Also I'm planning a special surprise for all my readers soon...you can probably guess what it is ;)

Hope you're all well!
Love you!

Dirty Works Foot Butter & Foot Scrub Review (Don't Worry, No Feet Pics Included!!)

Hello chicka's!
Hope you're all doing well! I have a week off work this week so I'm doing a bit of updating on my blog and doing some errands I've been meaning to do for a while, I like weeks off for doing stuff like that, feels like less pressure!

Today I'm doing a review on the Dirty Works footcare range!
I know feet aren't exactly everyones favourite subject but it is important we look after them, when your feet are dry they can be very uncomfortable to walk on, and if you leave it the problem will just get worse so I think it's important to scrub and moisturise your feet after every bath or shower.

I start off with the foot scrub, when you're in the bath or shower you need to dry off your feet and then put a small blob (about a cherry tomato sized blob will do!) into your hand and rub it all over your footsies!
Pay special attention to the heel and ball of your feet, as that's where you get the most dryness.
This feels really scrubby, but not uncomfortable! It has a lovely spearmint scent too, and it has such a cooling effect on the feet! When I used it in the bath I put my feet back into the bathwater to rinse the scrub off and my feet still felt cool even in the hot water! It's a odd, but really nice, sensation.
My feet were left baby soft after using it too, I've definitely noticed an improvement in the dryness on my feet even after just a few uses.

Then after I've dried off I slather lots of the foot butter all over my feet and put on some cosy socks to help it sink into my feet and give them a nice intensive treat!
This lotion smells lovely, it describes the scent as ''oriental'' on the website but I wouldn't say that, it just smells fresh and creamy!
It does an amazing job of moisturising your feet, this is my third tube of this and I will definitely continue buying it!
In conjunction with the foot scrub it does an even better job than normal though, my feet feel like heaven!

I'm sure everyone is very glad I didn't include any pictures of my feet, although they are looking better than ever if I do say so myself ;)
I'm such a huge fan of the Dirty Works range of products, it's such a shame they're not more widely available from Superdrug or Boots as they're so brilliant! But I suppose most people have a Sainsbury's near them, but they might not think to check out the beauty products or skincare.

Dirty Works Sole Sister Foot Scrub is available from Sainsbury's supermarkets nationwide, RRP is £2.99 but it's currently on offer for £1.00!

Dirty Works Best Foot Forward Foot Butter is available from Sainsbury's supermarkets nationwide, and online at Sainsbury's.co.uk. RRP is £2.99 but it's also on offer for just £1.49.
