Stila ''IT Girl'' Eyeshadow Palette - Review!

Hi there kittens!
Yes, it's another eyeshadow palette review, i should really rename this blog ''The Eyeshadow Belle''...Yes...i'm funny.
Eyeshadows have really taken over from nail varnish in my obsessions lately, don't get me wrong, i'm still a huge sucker for a nail varnish, but at the moment i'm more interested in eyeshadows and especially eyeshadow palettes!

And the one i'm reviewing today is one i haven't heard much about, i got it for Christmas off my dad and it's the ''IT Girl'' palette from Stila!
I have the In The Light palette from Stila and the eyeshadows are such a lovely consistency that i was super excited to get this little palette too!

The packaging is very cute, patent black with these pretty little stars, nice and compact for taking away with you travelling because it's very secure once you snap it shut so you won't have it breaking all over your bag!

As you can see you get 3 (i think they're full size) eyeshadows in this mini palette! The top selling Kitten, and two exclusive shades Chloe and Lame (as in gold, shiny fabric, not lame as in crap haha).

From left to right - Lame, Chloe, Kitten.

These are such gorgeous, neutral shades! A must for any collection, as with the In The Light palette the shadows are buttery, shimmery and long lasting, i'm obsessed with Stila now and want all of the palettes!
My dad got me this off ASOS, but it's currently on sale on the Stila website, with free shipping!
It's retailing for £10.50 (link here) and for 3 eyeshadows, including two exclusive shades, that's a brilliant price!! Especially for this quality of shadow :)

I'm currently browsing the Stila websites sale, i'm very tempted to buy the Stila Smudge Stick set or the Stila Lip Glaze set, they may or may not be already in my basket....oops!!

What's your favourite brand of eyeshadow?
Let me know kittys!!

Love ya's!!

FOTD/OOTD & FOTN/OOTN - Gotta Get Down On FRIDAY, FRIDAY!

Hello again!
I was meant to write this post yesterday but i spent most of the day very hungover haha i went out on Friday night with my best friends and we had such a good time, resulting in us rolling in at 5am much drunker and much poorer!
But earlier on Friday i went shopping in Newcastle with my bezza Emma, we went to look for clothes to wear on the night out but, as usual when you're looking for something, all the clothes were honking and we didn't end up buying anything but casual clothes for the daytime! I might do a little haul with the few bits i bought soon :)
Anyway, this is my FOTD and my OOTD from my shopping trip first :)

Face - Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover in Creamy Ivory (new favourite foundation, review upcoming!!), Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse concealer in 02, Maxfactor cream blush in Soft Pink, Rimmel eyebrow pencil in Hazel.

Eyes - Kitten from the Stila In The Light palette upto the browbone, Stila Champagne underneath my eyes and all over the lid, Urban Decay Blackout in the waterline, Eylure HedKandi Twisted Disco lashes, Rimmel Exaggerate liquid eyeliner, Lancome Hypnose Star mascara.

Lips - Sleek True Colour matte lipstick in Amped.

 Beanie hat - H&M
Scarf - H&M
Ring - New Look
Jacket - H&M
Jumper - H&M (have you guessed i shop at H&M a lot?!)
Pleather leggings - Primark
Ankle Boots - Primark

We had a great day shopping but by the end we were knackereddd, plus we had to run from one end of the train station to the other to catch our train, and we just missed it by one second, the doors literally just started closing when we got there but they still wouldn't open them and let us on which i thought was tight seen as the train hadn't started moving yet!!
Anyway, we got back and then started getting ready straight away for our night out! Here's what i wore, most of the face is the same as the day, with a few exceptions :)

Face - All the same apart from i pencilled my eyebrows in a bit darker with a MUA pencil in Brown.

Eyes - Same as before apart from i put a layer of Toasted from Urban Decay over my lid, and the lashes are Eylure Naturalites in 140 Intense.

Lips - MUA lip liner in Red Drama, Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 02, Revlon Colourburst lipgloss in Strawberry.

Jacket - H&M
Dress - Primark
Tights - Primark
(Dirty) shoes - Primark
Necklace - H&M
Bracelet - A gift!

Fridays are really casual which is why i'm wearing some scruffy flats, because your shoes never survive the night without being beaten up and wrecked anyway haha!
I felt pretty tired by the night but i soon forgot all my worries once i got through a bottle of wine ;)

How was your weekend? Was it a boozy one or a quiet one? Let me know in the comments, because i'm a nosy witch :)

Love you guys!!

January Empties!

Happy Sunday!
January has felt like it's been 6 months long, which i do know isn't possible but still!
But finally payday has come and the month is almost over, January has been good for me but i know most people can't stand it and can't wait for it to be over!
I've got loads of new beauty products for Christmas so i didn't use up as much as i have in the past couple of months, but enough to warrant a post!

Lancome Eau Micellaire Douceur.
I got this makeup remover from my Selfridges Advent Calendar, it was nice but it went down really quickly and i didn't think it did an amazing job at removing my makeup considering how pricey it is!

This manky old stick was the Lush Snow Fairy bubble bath wand, it was star shaped with a bell hanging off it and you just swooshed (a technical term) it around in the bath and it created lovely smelling bubbles and gave your bath a nice pink colour! I got about 5 or 6 baths out of this bubble wand which i thought was really good! I'd definitely buy it again, Snow Fairy is one of my favourite scents ever!

I got this AS London candle in the You Beauty Advent Calendar that i did a post on on Friday, and i took this picture before i burnt it but after trying it a few times i've realised i really hate it!
I trimmed the wick but when i burn it the whole candle turns to liquid and then when the wax dries the wick dries into it! So i had to dig it out with some nail scissors, not good! Also the scent is horrific, it doesn't say which of AS London's candles this is but it smelt like actual vomit :| no joke! It was really bad, so i threw it away, such a shame because having a sample of a candle is a really good idea!

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream.
This was another sample from my Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar, i really liked this! It was nice and moisturising and left my skin looking nice and fresh, but i don't think i'd buy it again just because i think there's cheaper moisturisers out there that do the same!

Kiehls Creme De Corps, Original Rich Nourishing Cream.
I liked this, the scent wasn't much to write home about, just a general lotion-ey smell, but it left my skin feeling moisturised, the only thing that annoyed me was the bottle was a nightmare to get product out of! As you can see i've bent it beyond recognition and i still couldn't get it all out, so i gave up!

And finally, a Vaseline! Anyone who knows me knows that i'm hooked on using Vaseline, it's holy grail for me and i always have a tin of it with me because one of my pet hates is the feeling of dry lips, it's awful and really distracting for me, and this is my favourite lipbalm just because it doesn't taste of anything and doesn't make my lips feel sticky, plus it's only £1 from Primark, happy days!

And that's that for my empties! I think i'm going to be doing a favourites post as well but i'll just have to wait and see how many things i can think of that are favourites of this month :)

Thanks for reading!

The You Beauty Advent Calendar - Half Price!

TGIF!
The weekend is almost upon us! Although i must admit, i'm off work today so really the weekend is here already for me :)
I'm off out tonight for the first time in 2013, so it's bound to be a messy one! I might do a FOTD/OOTD tomorrow if i remember/am sober enough to take pictures!

But before i start beautifying myself (it takes me hours!) i thought i'd write a post about a great bargain i found! If you were keeping up with all the beauty Christmas advent calendars then you'll know probably the most popular one was the You Beauty Advent Calendar, it was all over the blogosphere and famous blogger and youtuber Sprinkle Of Glitter instagrammed it everyday when she opened a window.
I had the Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar, which i loved! But i was envious of a few of the things you get in the You calendar, so when i was casually browsing the Latest In Beauty website and saw it for half price i just had to get it!!
The contents are worth £210, but it's now on sale for £29.95, down from £59.95! And you really get some great stuff in it!

I Instagrammed this picture of the box, isn't it beautiful! Not as nice as the Selfridges one, but this is really big and substantial with a lovely pink bow :)
I'll show you an assortment of the stuff you get in the calendar, but i won't show you it all as it'll spoil the surprise! but if you want to see a full list they show you one on their website :)

Some really fantastic stuff! You get to try loads of things that you wouldn't normally, i'm loving Steam Cream, the Bella Pierre eyeshadow and the Mavala nail varnish most of all!

If you'd like to buy this the link is here, i'd recommend it just for the fun of tearing open all the windows in one go!!

What are your plans for the weekend? I'd love to hear all about them! Will you be getting a bit tipsy like me or are you having a quiet one?
Thanks for reading!!

Missguided Wishlist!

Not you again!!
Only joking, always a pleasure :)
I don't know about you guys, but i think i spend a good 60% of my life browsing clothes websites looking at stuff i can't afford, and my favourite place for window shopping at the moment is Missguided! They have really upped their game and i could easily fill my virtual basket to the brim with stuff!
So i thought i'd give you all a peek into my basket, a basket which i can't afford to take to the checkout :( So i'm hoping some of you will read this and buy one or two items, so i can live vicariously through you :)
All links to the products will be in the titles :)

Cristi Dip-Dye Batwing Jumper
I'm loving jumpers like this recently, baggy and great to wear with leggings, this blue ombre effect looks so cool too, it's the exact style i adore!
£18.99.

Aylwen Wet Look Skater Skirt
This might look a bit cheap and tacky to some people but personally i love it! i can imagine it with just a plain black baggy t-shirt tucked in and some studded ankle boots, plus it's super cheap!
£9.99.

Tonni Black Peplum Spiked Collar Dress
Check out this beautiful dress! It has everything i love in a dress, spikes, a collar and a nipped in waist! I'd feel super fierce if i wore this!
£34.99.

Tionne Denim Shirt With Skull Buttons
The shirt is what i've got my eye on, studs (again!) and skull buttons, i'd love to wear this with leather leggings and ankle boots!
£19.99.

Laila Loose Long Sleeve Cut Out Shoulder Top
Once again, nice and long so it can be worn with leggings, cos who likes to see a camel toe unless they're in a zoo?!
The cut-out shoulders are a great touch too, make it work for night and day :)
£10.99.

Spiked Shoulder Sweater
Can you see a theme developing here? Yes, me too! I've been looking all over for a jumper with spiked shoulders, i found one in New Look but it said ''one size''?! What's the use of a jumper that only comes in one size?
So this is a great alternative to that!
£24.99.

Nikae Roll Neck Peplum Top
I think simple tops like this are great for keeping your wardrobe really versatile, this is nice and long and a really flattering cut so you could wear it with anything, plus the fact that it's a roll neck is a bit different, and will keep you nice and warm in the Arctic weather we've been having!
£10.99.

Jenna Split Maxi Skirt
I love wearing maxi dresses in a casual way, with a leather jacket slung over them and some ankle boots, so i think this maxi skirt would be great as a basic, also the slit adds a bit of raciness so you could wear it for night time if you wanted to!
£9.99.

Sawyer Leather Panel Leggings
I live in my leather leggings, so these part leather (well..pleather) and part jersey leggings are super cool to me! I've ordered some that are similar from H&M, but those have jersey down the sides and leather down the front, whereas these are in a funky pattern, so it wouldn't be a waste of money to own both right?....RIGHT?
£11.99.

Studded Front Leggings
Leggings...and studs...need i say more!?
And these don't look like the kind of studs that would fall off after 2 minutes, they look pretty substantial!
£22.99.

Kareena Suspender Leggings
A lot of you might think these a bit..tarty...but i love them! Don't judge me.
£14.99.

Frenchy Shiny Disco Leggings
As you might have guessed, i could do a whole post on the leggings from Missguided on their own!! haha i'm an enthusiast...
These Disco Pant rip offs look great because they're not actual pants, they're leggings! So a bit easier if you're not a size 10, which i am...not.
£9.99.

Jainy Leather Contrast Mac
The coats on Missguided are absolutely killing it too! This normal beige mac is brought alive by the amazing leather sleeves, i'm in love!
£48.99.

Mariko Studded Biker Boots
And yes, the black and studded theme does carry on to my footwear, look at these babies! perfect for splashing through the puddles in the April showers!
£39.99.

Arveta Leather Trim Blazer
And last but not least, a night out staple for me is a blazer, it smartens up any outfit and makes it look slightly classier and chicer! The leather on this one just makes it more interesting and slightly more ''young''.
£25.99.

And there we go! I could probably keep rambling on and on about lots more stuff but this is a selection of my favourite things, you never know, a few of these things might just make it to the checkout come payday (roll on friday!!).
I will say this about Missguided though, i know quite a lot of people who've had bad experiences with them shipping-wise, i myself have paid for next day delivery so something would come in time for a special night out, and it didn't arrive until a few days later which was no use to me!
And this has happened to a couple of people i know, but i also know a lot of people who have had faultless experiences with them! So i suppose it's just the risk you run when you order online, but i thought it best to let you know anyway, because i love you guys and wouldn't want to keep something like that from you :)

Hope you enjoyed seeing what's on my wishlist at the moment, what's on yours? Not just from Missguided, but generally from anywhere, let me know in the comments below, because when a comment notification comes through on my phone it always makes me feel smashing :)

Love you!!
Talk soon!

Eye Candy - The Weird Crush Edition!

Bonjour beauty belles!
I was watching TV today and i realised how many strange people i have a crush on, basically i seem to have two main types when it comes to men, blonde hair and a cute face or black hair and handsome, but i also have a (slightly weird) thing for men with grey hair!
So i thought i'd do a post about my weird crushes! I'm currently sat in bed and i can't sleep so naturally what else is there to do but ogle pictures of some gorgeous men? No? Just me who's a perv then....

I like doing slightly different posts, not just beauty constantly :) And who doesn't like to ogle hot men?!
Some of them aren't ''weird'' necessarily, but not usual crushes like Bradley Cooper or Jake Gyllenhaal (two favourites of mine still!)
Let me know in the comments what you think of my picks, and i'd love to know who your weird/unusual crushes are :)

Paul Hollywood
Now, a lot of you might not agree with this one, some of you might not even know who he is! But he's one of the judges on the genius BBC2 cooking show, Great British Bake-Off!
I don't know what it is about him, his grey hair, blue eyes or the fact i know he could bake me all the cakes and bread i could eat, but i find him irresistable! And when he's kneading some dough it makes me all hot and bothered...weird?!

Misha Collins
If you watch the American tv series Supernatural then you'll recognise this fallen angel, that's one of my favourite shows and of course, the two leading men are gorgeous (if you haven't seen them, google it, they're unbelievable!) but there's something very boy next door about Misha, also my attraction to him isn't just based on looks, in real life the actor seems completely insane, in a good way, which is very attractive to me, i love a man who isn't afraid to be himself!

Blake Shelton
Another thing i have a weakness for, country singers!
I'm a massive fan of country music, which is something you guys might not know about me, but Blake has to be my favourite country singer, he seems like he has a great sense of humour on The Voice USA (in which he's a coach) and seems a all-round gentleman!

Joey Greco
Yes..If you recognise this guy you'll know he hosts the notorious tv programme Cheaters, which i love, but there's just something about his silky, cat-like voice and his grey hair that makes him very attractive to me!

Jake .M. Johnson
 Nick from New Girl!
Need i say more?! Look at that craggy, cute little face

What do you think of my picks?!
Obviously i love all of them, i might do another one of these posts with my more normal crushes as well, i did one a while ago (read here if you'd like a blast from my blog past!) but i have a few more to add to it, and i know you like-minded people won't moan about a few more sexy men on my blog either ;)

Thanks for reading!
