Kleancolor ''Techno High'' Nail Varnish - Review!

Hello my pretties!
I decided to do a review on these lovely nail varnishes i won from Cara Robinson's blog quite a while ago, because i've only just got round to testing them out (you know you've got too many nail varnishes when that happens...)
Firstly i'm sorry for the lack of posts recently, but i pinched a nerve in my right wrist and haven't been able to type or text or even move my right arm for a little while! Luckily it's getting better now and i'm back to being a bbm-a-holic!!
Onto the review!

How prettyyyy eh?! They're a collection of 6 mini metallics and they're very hard to track down in the UK but you can get them from this seller on eBay for just over a tenner altogether.

These are the colours from left to right:

Not very imaginative names! but as you can see, super pretty colours with shedloads of shimmer shot through them.
Now for the best part, swatchessss!
With flash:

Without flash:
This is with one, yes ONE, coat, the opacity is second to none! I use these nail varnishes when i'm in a hurry to go out and need to paint my nails really quickly, because they're touch dry in about a minute, but don't compromise on the colour! Of course, if i had plenty of time i would do 2 coats, just to even it out and make the shimmer even more intense!
I'd be really interested to try more Kleancolor nail varnishes to see if it's just this collection or if all of them have such intense pigmentation.
I can't really comment on wear time because i change my nail varnish so often they don't usually get a chance to chip, but i've worn Metallic Yellow for 2 days and it didn't chip, and i had Metallic Pink on my toes for 4 days without any chippage, so that's pretty decent!
I can't recommend these nail varnishes enough, i really can't, big thank you to Cara for introducing to me to them!!

SO happy it's finally Friday, does anyone else start the countdown to the weekend on Monday morning like i do?!
Laters alligators!!

Primark, H&M, Superdrug, etc. Haul!

Hello there beauty belles!!
It's been a very busy week for me which is why i've been a bit AWOL recently! I went to see Westlife on Friday night, which was amaaazing! I love those guys and i'll miss them loads now they've split up :( i think i might still be in mourning! and it was my best friends 21st on Saturday so 10 of us headed out on the town in Leeds, what a night! It was brilliant, and just ever so slightly messy ;) haha.
Anyway, somewhere in between all that i've managed to do some shopping, well you can always fit that in can't you!

I ordered this nail varnish when it was £2 on Asos, it's Mushroom from Barry M and i've wanted this for ages so i thought i'd snap it up while it was discounted! And they sent me a sample of ths new Hawaiian Tropic sun cream too, which is handy for my handbag!

These are my favourite hairsprays and they were 2 for £2.99 in Superdrug, enough said!!

I picked up one of these scrunchy, exfoliaty things from Wilkinsons for about 60p, i love them because they're great for scrubbing my tan off when it goes a bit patchy.

I'm sure you're sick of the sight of this dress by now but it's such a summer basic i just had to pick it up in white as well (i've already got it in black and green). It's a pretty thin fabric so always wear light coloured knickers underneath it, which i don't happen to have done in the picture above!! haha.
This was £6 from Primark, now all i need is some sun to wear it!

I also got a white bra to wear with it because all mine had gone grey in the wash so i threw them away! I got this in a DD, and it was still too small!! My boobs are nowhere near that big so it must be the bra sizes that run small, so beware if you ever buy a Primark bra! This was a fiver.

Some nail files, because i've tried more expensive ones and the cheap ones seem exactly the same to me! These were about 75p from Wilkinsons.

This gorgeous jade ring from Primark i bought because i thought it would look good with the white dress i featured before :) Excuse my messy tan on my fingers by the way, i've since sorted it out ;) haha, this ring was £2.50.

I picked up this lipgloss from H&M from a little bin that was near the till (don't you just hate to love those stands near the till, too tempting!!) and i wasn't expecting much from them but i'm so pleasantly surprised!! This is the glitteriest lipgloss i've ever seen, it smells like watermelon and gives the lips such a nice pink sheen, plus they were only £2.99 each! This doesn't have a name so i decided to christen it myself, i've called it Glitter In The Air, because that's a Pink song, and this lipgloss is pink, and glittery, see what i did there?!

I also picked the same lipgloss up in this beautiful colour, it reminds me so much of Revlon Colourburst lipgloss in Crystal Water, except a lot cheaper! It gives such a intense glittery look to any lipstick, or just on bare lips, and doesn't feel at all gritty, i'd definitely recommend looking out for these when you're next in H&M :) I christened this one Tinseltown, for obvious reasons!

And lastly i finally picked up one of these MUA Out There plumping lip glosses, in Peach Shimmer, and i understand all the hype! I don't know about the plumping aspect of this product but to be honest i don't need my lips plumping anyway! This is just a great, opaque lipgloss in such a pretty colour, i love it so much that i bought another one as one of my best friends birthday presents, and she adores it too! This was £1.50 i think!

Thanks for reading, i've been doing quite a lot of shopping recently so there'll probably be some more hauls coming! And if you'd like to request any other posts then please do so in the comments below :D
Catch you later!

A Boots Points Haul!

Good evening to you all!
Thought i'd do this quick haul while i'm waiting for Hollyoaks to come on, although i've got a wait of over two hours so i might have to find something else to occupy my time too haha.
This is a haul that is not technically a haul, because it was all free! Boots points, i love you

First the boring ''necessity'' product, my usual 17 eyebrow pencil, i love this pencil and literally couldn't LIVE without a eyebrow pencil now, how did i cope before i discovered them?! and why did no-one tell me how poop i looked?!?
This is £2.99 from Boots, i also love the handy little brush on the end, they have a very limited shade selection though, basically blonde, mid brown (this one) and dark brown.

This is the 17 Instant Glow Shimmer Brick, basically a dupe of the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick:
They're pretty similar except the Bobbi Brown one has one extra coppery coloured strip in it, and also the Bobbi Brown is £30.50 and the 17 version is a mere £4.99! I personally love the 17 shimmer brick, i'm obsessed with shimmer on my face at the moment so this is the perfect product for me! I'm so looking forward to when Summer properly hits and i can wear this everyday :D Come on sunshineee, i'm willing you on!

The last thing i got with my points was this Barry M lipstick in shade 147.
I used to own this until one ill-fated night when i took it on a night out with me and my (drunk) friend borrowed it and promptly snapped the whole bullet off haha!
It's such a gorgeous peach colour, although a bit drying if you have dry lips like i do so i just pop some peachy gloss over the top :)
This is almost a perfect dupe for Illamasqua lipstick in Obey, except over a tenner cheaper! Barry M lipstick is £4.49.

Hope you enjoyed this, what do you spend your Boots points on? i think every shop should do a points card! If Primark or H&M had one then i'd be raking the points in!
Ciao for now!

It's All About MeMeMe!

Morning!
When i was browsing through one of my fave blogs Ems Mixed Bag I saw her post about a great deal on MeMeMe cosmetics, basically you buy a £8.50 boxed blush and a £8.50 lipstick from the website and when you enter the code BIG10K you get both of them for £7! And free shipping!! Unfortunately the deal ended the day after i placed my order but i thought i'd still show you what i bought :)
I unashamedly copied all of Em's choices, because i'm a big fat copycat!! And also because i trust her taste, if she likes it then it's A-OK by me!

Firstly i got a lipstick in the shade Coral Cloak, i'm a sucker for corals at the minute so this was a no brainer for me!
It looks really bright on my hand and when it's in the bullet, but on the lips i muted it down with Revlon Coral  Reef lipgloss just to make it glossy and easy to wear.
I lovelovelove the formula of this lipstick! It's so creamy and moisturising, i'd never have thought of picking up a lipstick from this range but i'm so glad i did!
Love the Greek goddess themed box and the pattern on the packaging, although it's made of the same material that Nars packaging is made of which is a bugger for picking up fingerprints and looking grubby!

And i also got this boxed blush in Bronze, i don't know how they can call it a blush when it's so clearly a bronzer, but oh well!
It has SUCH shimmer in it, it's so beautiful, i'm loving shimmer on my face lately as i mentioned in my last FOTD so this is great for lovely sunny days to make your face look healthy and glowing! I really like the packaging too, they seem a lot sturdier than the Benefit box blushes and i really like the fact that they have a mahooosive mirror in the lid as well!

Even though you now can't take advantage of this offer they sent me a discount code to use, i'm not going to use it as i'm on a bit of a spending ban as of now (let's see how long this lasts!) so feel free to fill your boots!

Enjoy!
Have a great weekend you crazy kids!

FOTN/OOTD

Hi-de-hi!
I haven't done a FOTN in a while so i thought i'd resolve that with this look i wore to a celebratory 3 course meal with my boyfriend, we were celebrating the fact that he now has a job! So i'm very excited for him :) The meal was GORGEOUS, seriously amazing! And at £10.99 for 3 courses it was amazing value :)

I'm loving shimmer all over my face at the moment, basically my style icon is a glitterball!
On my eyes i used one of the shades from the new 17 Instant Glow Shimmer Brick, which i bought with my Boots points (i'll feature it in a haul soon!), and it fared really well! I didn't think it would be very good for my eyes but it gave good colour pay off and didn't rub off, so really it's a 2 in 1 product!
Then i used Rimmel Exaggerate liquid eyeliner and Eylure Intense lashes to give it a more dramatic effect.
I also used: Rimmel Recover foundation (which i love, but it's discontinued), 17 Shimmer Brick on my cheeks, W7 blush in Angel on my cheeks as well and Barry M lipstick in 147, with Revlon lipgloss in Coral Reef over the top :)

And then on Saturday me and my boyfriend went to Newcastle to pick him up lots of lovely clothes for his new job, naturally i chose them all ;) being the stylista that i am! hahaha.

I've featured this Primark dress on here before, but i really love it! It's such a eyecatching colour and i wore it last time on a night out and this is it dressed down for day, with black tights and my trusty H&M leather jacket! I'm literally obsessed with skater dresses!
My bag is the blogger bag, the Alexander Wang dupe from eBay that everyone and their guinea pig seems to have! and my shoes are scuffed old pink brogues from Primark :)

Hope you've all had a wonderful Jubilee weekend, this FOTN/OOTD is almost patriotic seen as the dress above is a kind of periwinkle BLUE, and the makeup look features a GOLDEN eye colour, always thinking ;) haha.
Catch you later!!
