Boots & Superdrug haul!

I know...another haul!!
But as these are my favourite posts to read i don't feel so guilty writing another one haha!
I've built up a few hauls lately, there's 2 more to come after this one, it's been quite a shopaholic couple of weeks!!
I bought these things last Wednesday :)
Firstly we'll start with Boots, because i bought the least from there.

I got this Blush & Glow from the 17 range, in the shade Peaches And Cream.
I got this because it was 3 for 2 and i thought it looked really unusual!
It's a lovely peachy shade plus a cream coloured highlighter in one.
When i used this it was quite shimmery, but it left a lovely colour on my cheeks, i'd probably use this for nights out and special occasions more than during the day because of the shimmeryness (i know, that's not a word! haha).
This was £3.99.

Then i got this 17 Nail Xtra's Strengthening Base Coat! I'm constantly looking for things to strengthen and protect my poor old nails!
It makes the nails nice and shiny but whether it protects them or not i can't tell haha but it's a good base coat and nail polishes apply very well over the top of it. I've ordered some nail strengthening items from the latest Avon catalogue so i'm hoping they'll have a real effect :)
This was £3.99.

I haven't used this one yet but it's such a gorgeous colour! It's one of the 17 Solo eyeshadows in the shade Regal.
I'm looking forward to making a more interesting take on the smoky eye by replacing black with this beautiful dark blue :)
This was £3.89.
Now for Superdrug!

Batiste dry shampoo is half price at the moment so i thought i'd snap one up! This one is in the Diva scent, it smells lovely like all the Batiste's :)
This was only £1.45.

The Vitamin E skincare range is definitely my holy grail! Every product i've used from it has performed well and this is no exception, i used the skin oil at night and in the morning my skin had never looked better! It's quite greasy so i wouldn't recommend using it in the day but for a night-time boost i can't encourage you more to buy this if you have normal or dry skin, it's a bit too oily for oily skin haha!
This was a bargain £1.99 and would last you forever because you only need a tiny bit!

I got this Collection 2000 powder for my pale days! Which are most days at the moment haha
Can't go wrong, it combats shine and is super pale, just what i needed! And at only £1.99 i have no complaints.

I got another Sleek lipstick because i love the matte one i bought a couple of weeks ago!
I got a sheen one this time though and it's lovely a moisturising, it's a nice peachy colour, hence the name Peaches & Cream (which is weirdly the second thing in this haul to be called that!)
It's a really easy to wear shade and it's a good formula for only £3.99, they seem to have a lot of unusual shades too that i haven't seen before! I'm really enjoying building up my Sleek collection, i'm a bit of a Sleek newbie you see!
I also bought some of the Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser, but you all know what that looks like! :)
Thanks for putting up with yet anotherrr haul! haha

Oxyfresh review: Power Rinse Lemon-Mint.

This is one of the haul of things i was sent by Dental Shop!
This is the Power Rinse Lemon-Mint mouthwash which i'm reviewing along with the Lemon-Mint Breath Spray.
The mouthwash comes in a huge 473ml bottle for only £7.77!
It has a really invigorating minty taste, it only has a hint of lemon, it's more in the after taste which gives it a really original, sweet taste!
This has become my regular mouthwash now because it really makes my mouth feel clean as a whistle and i'll definitely be repurchasing this!
I've loved everything that Dental Shop sent me so far, it really is a great site! I'm looking forward to reviewing other things they've sent me too :)
The dental spray has the same taste but it comes in a really handy 7.5ml spray bottle, i slip this in my bag for breath top ups! haha.
This is only £3.33 and when it runs out of spray you can always top it up using your bottle of Lemon-Mint mouthwash :)

Thanks for reading!

Latest In Beauty sample box.

Hiya!
There's a new box of samples in town!
This one is different to all the Glossy Boxes and things like that because it's just very small samples, plus it's only £1!
This is what it looks like;

As you can see, my cat Smudge loves it!! haha
It's pretty big surprisingly!
Firstly, how it works is you go on www.latestinbeauty.com and click on Monthly Box at the top.
Then you choose 1 item from the 3 categories, Skincare, Make-up & Fragrances and Hair & Body.
Here's what my completed box looked like!
I picked Dr Bragi Age Management Moisturiser, Mary Kay Timewise Moisturiser in Ivory and Burt Bee's Therapeutic Bath Crystals!
There's some info about them in the above picture :)
Once you've selected which items you want to sample then you go through to the next screen where they give you a number to text, then they text you your personal sample number!
You just input that on the website along with your address and name and bobs your uncle, your box is winging it's way to you!
I'm really happy with it, but personally the only product i've used so far is the bath crystals, and i wasn't too impressed with these! I love a good old bubble bath and this is what these did to my bath;
Nada!! Apart from a couple of black bits floating in my bath, ew.
It went a bit misty too and the look and smell reminded me of Lemsip!
I tried it but unfortunately it didn't make my muscles ache any less haha.
I'm convinced i'm going to love the rest of these products though,  i'll keep you informed :)

Garnier BB Cream, my verdict!

Just a quick post to tell you my views on the new Garnier BB Cream!
I got this in Light, and it was on offer for £7.49 in Sainsbury's down from £9.99.
This applies really well, but for me it doesn't do anything than any other tinted moisturiser does!
It makes your skin look dewy, which i personally like but if you like a matte effect on your face then this is NOT the product for you! Unless you heavily powder your face.
It doesn't do a lot of the things it claims to on the box for me, it boosts glow and hydrates it but other than that i didn't notice any blurred imperfections or anything like that!
I'll use it as a normal tinted moisturiser but maybe under a foundation it might be better.
For £9.99 i wouldn't be buying this again, probably not even for £7.49, it really isn't the product for me but if you like light coverage and a dewy glow to your complexion you'll really like this.

My eBay impulse buys, uncovered!

Hello!
If you saw my post a couple of weeks ago, My eBay impulse buys!, then you'll be happy to know everything's arrived and i'm thrilleddd with most of them! There's also a couple more purchases that i made, after that post, thrown in :)
Firstly, OPI nail varnish in Cabana Banana!
The formula is great! I love the colour too, i put a matte topcoat on top of it and it looked equally as good, i reckon it would look great with a glitter topcoat on it too :) It's so unusual and a noticeable colour, if you like having fun with your nails then this is a perfect colour for you!
I got this from the eBay seller ShoePrincess2008 for £6.99.

Next up is China Glaze nail varnish in Sour Apple!
This is very sheer and it was about 4 coats to get it to the colour above, and that's still not true to how it looks in the bottle.
I still really like the colour but you'd need to use a base coat underneath so that you can peel it off your nail because if you tried to remove this many coats with nail varnish remover and cotton wool it would take you all night!!
I ordered this from an American eBay seller called enchantedbeautyspot and although it took a bit longer to get to me, obviously, it's so much cheaper for brands like this when you buy from international sellers!
This was only £3.72 in English pounds.

This is the one i'm most impressed with! Only two coats gets you a dense, glittery effect, i'm in love with it!
It's Nubar in Heather Shimmer!
I'd definitely recommend this, i'll be purchasing more Nubar nail varnishes, especially glitter ones, when i have the money!
This is also from enchantedbeautyspot and costs just £5.02.

This is one of the things i purchased after posting my last eBay post, it's just a gorgeous shimmery, metallic lilac nail varnish!
It's Accessorize nail varnish in Steel.
And this was only 99p!

Now the Almay Dial Up Mascara

 1 Coat! ^

2 Coats ^
 3 Coats ^

I'm not a massive fan of this mascara! If you like long, lengthened lashes then this is for you but i like mine to be thick as well as long so this isn't for me!
I got it from georgina3627 for £2.99.

Lastly, Benefit blusher in Thrrrob!

Plus a free trial size of Benefit High Beam! I'm so happy with this, i can find no evidence that it's a fake, it looks and feels 100% real!
It gives such a natural flush of colour, you can build it up or you can leave it as a light pink wash of colour.
This was only £4.99 when i bought it which is amazing! Love the packaging too :)
This is from eBay seller r1cky0156.
It's now been put upto £9.99 but that's still great considering this retails at £22 :)

Hope you enjoyed this post :)

H&M haul!

Hola!
I've been meaning to do this post for about a week but i'm just getting round to it, oopsy!!
I'll dive straight in!

This dress is great for ''hourglass'' figures on paper because it nips in at the waist and flares out over your hips and thighs but actually it nips in a bit too high on your waist making your hips look bigger than they actually are! I really love this dress with a jacket or a cardi over it, completely transforms it, but on it's own i don't think i'd feel very good in it! I'm thinking of buying it in the Powder colour as well, just because of how good it looks underneath layers and because the material is so thick and wintery, such good quality for the price! This was £14.99 and the link is here. (Don't mind the tip in the picture above, it's taken in my boyfriends room! haha)

This is quite a cute piece! It's a nice, almost 50s style, cropped cardigan, but it's in a very chunky knit which will be SO cosy when Winter hits properly.
I got it in pale pink because the blue/green shade was sold out :( It's back in stock now though and i'm very tempted by it because it's such an eyecatching colour and would jazz up anything in your wardrobe!
This was only £7.99 and the link is here!

I'm loving bodycon skirts at the moment! I like wearing them with slouchy jumpers and knitwear over the top, think it's a really flattering look! This is the first of 3 bodycon skirts i bought in this haul so i won't rattle on for too long, but the quality of the skirt's really good, nice and stretchy so it's a flattering fabric, and this light brown/tan colour is so on trend!
This was only £2.99(!) and the link is here.

From the same range of bodycon skirts from H&M, only in black and white stripes! Now i know they say girls over a certain size shouldn't wear horizontal stripes but to hell with it, i actually think they're quite slimming! Monochrome stripes are a classic too so i'll be able to wear this with almost anything :)
This was also £2.99 and the link is here!

And here's the same kind of skirt but from a different range! I probably like this skirt best, it's slightly thicker material and doesn't ride up at all, which the others do when you're sat down and moving around a lot.
It's this beeeautiful wine colour which, again, is so on trend! This is such a cheap way to keep your outfits inkeeping with the latest colours. (That isn't a stain on the front of the skirt by the way, it's just my pooey camera! haha).
This skirt was £3.99 and the link is here!

This nail varnish is really gorgeous! A lovely zingy blue/teal colour, high shine finish and a great formula for the price! U Must Have This is a very appropriate name! They don't actually sell this colour anymore because it was in the sale, but they sell a colour that's extremely similar (in fact i'm convinced it's the same one just with a different name!) and it's called Mambo Jambo, there's a link to it here.
I bought this for £1.99 but they're normally £2.99.

Lastly, these lovely chunky gold rings!
I have a mini obsession with rings (not as big as my obsession with nail varnishes, but close!) so these were a great find, good to jazz up any outfit really, i think Mr T would definitely approve of my blingage!
I couldn't find a link to these so they must have sold out :( But they were only £1.99.

Thanks a lot for reading and i hope you enjoyed this haul!
I'll be doing another H&M haul soon because a few more clothing items are on their way :)
I love ordering things to try out from H&M because it's so easy to return them through the post if they're not quite right :)
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend!

A blast from the past!

Hiya!
When i was in Boots the other day i stumbled across these and they brought back so many memories!
I used to be obsessed with them and had all the different scents (including my favourite, Dewberry, but they don't stock that anymore, boo) but i haven't used them for about 6 years..until now!
I'll put you out of your misery, i'm talking about...

Natural Collection body sprays!
They look so cute and the smells are actually quite strong and long lasting considering they only cost a bargainous £2.03!
Vanilla is probably my favourite because i love vanilla scents, but Mango & Papaya is an old favourite i used to have when i was younger and i thought they'd probably have changed the scent a bit by now, but they haven't! It's exactly the same and whenever i spray it it brings back memories of a 13 year old me haha.
They're on 3 for 2 at the moment in Boots along with the rest of the Natural Collection toiletries range, so i suggest you rush down there quick-smart! :)

Body Shop goodies!

Hiya!
I bought a couple of things from The Body Shop the other day so thought i'd do a quick post :)
I love getting stuff from The Body Shop because it always feels like a treat, the prices are a little bit out of my range so it has to be pretty special for me to want to buy it!
First up i bought these lovely lip balms;

Mango Peach is a lovely sheer orange that feels nourishing on your lips but i felt like it got a bit sticky after a while and needed reapplying. The smell is amazing, i could literally scoop the lip balm out of the tub and eat it on toast! But that would be horrible so i restrain myself...
The Satsuma Shimmer is exactly what it says on the tin (or tub in this case) it's a very orangey smelling, orangey coloured shimmer!
My favourite out of the two, just because the orange is so strong and uplifting plus the shimmer adds some interest and stops it being just any old lip balm.
These cost £2 each but i got them for £3 for the two because i had a discount code for 25% off, which you get when you sign upto email updates :)

I also got this amazing Dreams Unlimited gift set, i've wanted the Body Shop Love etc.. perfume for ages but when i smelt this one i actually preferred it! The box is so cute but obviously that isn't why i bought it, the smell is to die forrrr, i can't leave myself alone when i'm wearing it! I keep smelling myself like a weirdo haha which can only be a good sign...right?!
You get a 30ml bottle of the Dreams Unlimited Eau De Parfum and a bottle of the matching body wash.
The body wash has a really nice lather and you only need a little bit for it to go a long way.
Same goes for the perfume really, just a couple of spritzes and you're done! But i always like to overdo my perfume dosage until i'm drenched in it :)
I'm not very good at describing scents so you'd have to go into your nearest Body Shop and try it out but apparently it has: Top notes of citrus and green chilli, a heart of delicate white flowers and base notes of soft cedarwood...Couldn't have put it better myself!
Perfumes are very personal though so i wouldn't recommend buying one without trying it first instore or from a tester in a magazine.
This gift set was £10.50, and i felt very stingey when the lady behind the counter asked if i'd like it wrapped as a gift and i had to admit it was actually just for me :( haha
But it's my birthday soon so i just about get away with it ;)
Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed :)

NOTD!

I wore these nails yesterday, and i loved how they looked so i thought i'd share it with you all!
I used this lovely Rimmel deep red nail varnish in Cranberry Zest, it's one of those nail varnishes that when it dries it smells like fruit! Which is a nice change from the usual chemical smell.
I used the Barry M black crackle over the top also, i laid it on thick so that it would leave big cracks and show through more of the nail varnish underneath :)
Hope you enjoyed this short but sweet post!

Best dressed of the Emmy's 2011!

It's only just taken place but i thought seen as i'm in the throes of insomnia (yet again!) I would do a post on the best dressed of this years ceremony :)
There are really some absolute peaches, wait until you see these beautiful people and their (vastly overpriced, but so worth it) clothes...

Sofia Vergara.

I mean just, woah!? She looks KNOCKOUT. The colour of this Vera Wang dress is perfect for her, the earrings, her hair, hair figure, she's stunning, 10/10!

Kerry Washington.

Firstly, i felt a little bit hesitant posting a picture of Kerry because she looks so painfully skinny in some of the photo's from the ceremony, but this is a decent angle (still Kerry, please go eat a Magnum or something), I don't usually mention peoples weight because it's their business what size they are but in some photo's she's quite hard to actually look at. Anyway! Onto the outfit, that is one amazing creation of a dress! How much work must have gone into this Zuhair Murad masterpiece?! Love the beaded, slightly sheer skirt, matching colour pop lips and clutch and sleek dark hair. (Forgetting about the weight for a minute) 9/10.

Claire Danes.

Now here's a beautiful, naturally slim-looking woman! The colours in this gorgeous Oscar De La Renta gown are amazing with her fair skin and blonde hair, think i might have preferred a updo instead of just a basic blow-dry but still, she looks amazing and fresh faced. 8/10

Nina Dobrev.

Another complete knockout gown! If you're going to wear a red dress on the red carpet then you have to make sure it's a breathtaker, and Nina did not disappoint! This Donna Karan number is very Vivienne Westwood-esque, which is probably why i love it so much! It couldn't fit her any better, it doesn't just fit like a glove, in fact, it puts all gloves in the shade with the way it fits her. I realise i'm gushing but she looks, top to toe, incredible! a very predictable 10/10 from me!

Thanks a lot!
